Vacation

Last week was the highly anticipated S.O.Y. Family vacation.  We planned to meet my parents, sister and her husband up in Alexandria, MN for a 3 nights stay at Arrowwood Resort. Due to a work emergency the "O" in the S.O.Y. family didn't arrive till the last night, but fun was had by all. We rented a 3 bedroom townhome with plenty of space for everyone, a full kitchen, and an ice rank just outsite the front door.  Pretty cool!! 



We enjoyed lots of good food, skating on the ice, sledding, swimming, playing Olympic games, and going to the waterpark.  The family decided to make up fun little Olympic games to compete in through out the visit - we did bowling, fishing, winter clothes race with others planned but not enought time.

A week of celebrations!

This time of the year is always busy with Super Bowl, two birthdays back to back and Valentine's Day.  Though it is crazy, we love it all the same...

For the Super Bowl Charlie and I had our adult party and the kids we very excited to have their own party with Gma LuAnn.  She made it a pretty special experience - who can resist football jigglers!?!  Yeah Gaints!



Lydia and Charlie are one year older now and we had lots of celebrating!  On Sat. we had friends and family over to celebrate the "Princess" turning 4 years old.  She was very excited to play dress up, wear a crown, and blow out the candles on her princess cake.
