The Grapes have been sold...

Now the trick is keeping them on the vines.  We installed a bird attack stereo in the vineyard last year to keep the flying enemy away, but it turns out that the deer also like grapes.  Harvest wasn't much to remember, so this year the guys spent many hours installing a very nice tall fence to keep the deer out.

The grapes are looking great and we had a visit from a local winemaker who is going to buy the grapes.  YEA!!  Now the job will be keeping the grapes and increasing the sugar content to increase our selling price.  My parents noticed some ants feasting over the weekend so dad took a few rounds on the sprayer to kill anything out there.  Eli and I went out to document the event.  Either it is the new camera or I just like to take pictures because I came home with 20 photos of dad spraying two rows of vines :)  Here are a few...

Amazed!

Amazed by the stadium - open air like Twins and so clean
Amazed by the fans - Awesome Colts pride and so cool to see tons of people wearing blue
Amazed by the suite - who knew watching a game from a suite could be so much fun
Amazed by the game - it was a good one with points going back and forth, but wasn't amazed at the final result :( Oh well at least my sister was smiling!

Go Colts!

Wow! I didn't know it has been a month since posting!  Well, Charlie and I are on a road trip today to watch the Colts play in Lucas Oil Stadium.  We came upon tickets for tonights pre-season game against Green Bay and said "Why not".  The kids have a babysitter today and will spend time with both sets of Gparents.  So this morning we left at about 4:30 to meet Carissa and Ike on I90 and continue the rest of the almost 11 hour trip.  Never seen Charlie jump out of bed so fast, he obiously is ready to see the Colts play live for the first time!!  Stay tuned for highlights later.  Really, I will try to post some pictures tomorrow on the ride home.

Here are a few pics. of the kids -
