Baby...

Baby... is one of Lydia's favorite words these days. She recieved for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Yost a baby doll and as the summer has gone by her attention for it has grown. She carries it around, hugs it, pretends to feed it, etc. This week we have been staying with our friends in Eyota who have a 6 week old. Lydia has loved watching the baby get a bath, swing in the the swing, and even wants the baby to sit by her. It is really fun to watch how she interacts with a real baby. It looks like she will be a good helper:) I haven't captured a good picture of her with her baby with our camera, but last week we went in for her 18 month pictures and she posed with the baby so that will be a great keepsake.

Busy Weekend

We have an eating machine on our hands!! She seems to be filling her mouth 24/7 these days. Any suggestions for nutritious snacks?


We enjoyed celebrating Thomas' 1st Birthday even though summer decided to begin on Sat. What a hot day, but how cute were the sheep and cow cakes that Ann made!!!

Carissa was home for wedding prep work - we assembled 200 some invites. YEAH!!! They are beautiful!!
