Plans from Above

So much of our lives in the last 6 months have been plans from above or at least that is what I keep telling myself. "God has a plan, just keep the faith!!" Well the house is finally on the market. Charlie worked really hard getting it ready on Monday for pictures and everything, so hopefully Lydia and I can continue keeping it clean :) Even though we knew a sign would go up in the yard it is a little weird and sad. We like our house, neighborhood, and the life we currently live. Someone this evening at the wonderful going away party that my class threw for our family said that the best part about moving is that you can make it what ever you want. My hope is that we can take it all in with grace.

Our other very unexpected news is explained in the following picture...

We are expecting a new addition to our family in the beginning of January 2010. We went in for an ultrasound today and heard the heartbeat. It was a wonderful relief, although I can say that things seem to be developing fine since I am really tired, nauseous, and hungry all the time.

This weekend we attended my sister's graduation from Vet Medicine School at the U of M. It was a great celebration and we are very proud of her!! Lydia was a little angel at the ceremony, not making noise and even letting us pay attention to the speakers.

Lydia enjoyed laying on the floor under our seats which cracked Charlie and I up :)

Is this a look of excitement or relief? Either way Dr. Schloesser deserves a big round of applause for all her hard work getting her doctoriate degree. I feel smarter just having a doctor in the family :)
