Merry Christmas!!

Thank you to all our family and friends for your prayers and support this past year as we went through the miscarriage and now are looking forward to the birth of our first born. It has been such an experience and in this time that we think about Mary carrying the Baby Jesus, I feel so fortunate to have this experience of carrying a child like Mary did so many years ago.

We were fortunate enough this past weekend to celebrate Christmas with our 4 ½ year old God Daughter, Paige. I have included a picture of her and Bandit, our new house dog, in the tent and tunnel play set that we gave her. It was really fun to look at Christmas lights with her and celebrate Christmas. While looking at lights we heard a lot of “Oh, colorful ones!!” or “I don’t like the white ones.” It was comical to hear her reaction and we will cherish the memory for years to come. She also sang some of the Christmas songs she has learned at school. They sure have amazing memories!

We will not be sending out Christmas cards this year, but still wanted to greet everyone and show off our growing family. Below you can see that the family is already getting bigger because we have added a house dog to the mix and continue to put up with Carissa’s cat, Pieper. And as you can see my belly is definitely getting large. How big will it really get?!?
